Therapy is a gift to yourself.
Prioritizing your well-being is crucial not just for yourself, but also for the strength and happiness of your relationships.
We have all been wounded along the way. We carry negative beliefs about ourselves and experience physical symptoms and emotional reactions because of these wounding experiences.
It is essential that you have a safe place to share your story and struggles.
I will provide a safe place where you will be heard, respected and encouraged to grow and heal.
Is faith or spirituality is important to you?
We can integrate this into your therapy.
INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES, TEENS AND PARENTS
In addition to helping individuals and couples I love helping teens and their parents. If you and/or your teen are struggling, please get help. You and they need support. They still need you.
Struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma or other mental health challenges?
More than one in five American adults and one in five teens struggle with mental health challenges each year. Most of us just need someone to actually listen to us. As a therapist, listening to you is at the center of what I do.
Big T Trauma
is a significant, life-threatening event like a car accident, natural disaster, or violent assault.
Little t Trauma
is a smaller, seemingly less severe experiences that can still cause emotional distress, like ongoing criticism, bullying, or job loss, which can accumulate over time to have a significant impact on mental health.
Traditional Talk Therapy vs. EMDR Therapy?
We can decide together which is best for you.

EMDR Therapy
Enables us to focus more quickly on your present struggles and the past negative experiences that contributed to these struggles. These memories are reprocessed using bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping or sound). In EMDR we talk about how the past is present without us even knowing it.

Traditional Talk Therapy
Helps you understand and manage your emotions and behavior through discussion and introspection.

About Me
I am a straightforward, trustworthy, hopeful and, above all, loving person. I care deeply about each of my clients. I want what is best for you.
My belief in God guides my life and practice.

At painful times in my life I have sought individual, couple and family therapy and have benefited immensely. The pain and struggle has been an invitation to a new way filled with more joy and freedom.
I am grateful for my husband of 29 years, the gift of two young adult sons and a 12-year-old yellow lab. If I could, I would spend all of my hours outside walking, biking, camping and sitting still in the beauty of creation. If you'd like to, we can do therapy outside.
